Event Website — The Attendee Experience

When you create an event in EventHex, an event website is automatically generated. This article shows what your attendees see when they visit the website — every page, section, and interactive element.


The homepage is the first thing attendees see when they visit your event website. It’s built from the modules you configured in the Page Builder.

The top of every page includes:

  • Event logo — your uploaded logo, linking back to the homepage
  • Navigation menu — links to enabled pages (Speakers, Sessions, Exhibitors, etc.)
  • Register Now button — prominent call-to-action button linking to ticket selection
  • My Tickets button — for returning attendees to access their tickets
  • Language switcher — if multi-language is enabled, attendees can switch the site language
  • Mobile responsive menu — on smaller screens, the navigation collapses into a hamburger menu

Depending on your Page Builder configuration, the homepage can include:

Every page ends with a footer showing:

  • Event organizer name and logo
  • Social media links
  • Powered by EventHex branding (removable on higher plans)

A dedicated page listing all event speakers.

  • Speaker cards in a grid layout — each card shows the speaker’s photo, name, role, and company
  • Click/tap a speaker to open a detailed modal or profile page with:
    • Full bio
    • Social media links (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
    • Sessions they’re speaking at
    • Company and designation
  • Speaker categories — if configured, speakers are organized by category
  • Search — attendees can search for specific speakers by name

Sessions Page (/sessions) & Agenda (/agenda)

Attendees can browse the complete event schedule.

  • Date tabs — for multi-day events, attendees switch between days
  • Session cards — each showing session title, time, room/track, speakers, and session type
  • Track/stage filters — filter sessions by room or track
  • Session type badges — color-coded labels (Talk, Panel, Workshop, Break, etc.)
  • Speaker avatars — small photos showing who’s presenting
  • Click a session for full details including description, speakers, and engagement tools

Each session can have interactive elements that attendees participate in:

  • Live Polls — vote on questions with real-time results (see Live Polls)
  • Q&A — submit questions and upvote others (see Q&A — Ask the Speaker)
  • Feedback — post-session star ratings

Attendees browse exhibiting companies.

  • Exhibitor grid — company logos, names, and booth numbers
  • Category filters — filter by industry or exhibitor category
  • Click an exhibitor for their detail page showing:
    • Company description and logo
    • Booth number and location
    • Product catalog with images and brochure links
    • Team/contact information
    • Social media links
  • Package tier badges — different visual treatment for Platinum, Gold, Silver sponsors/exhibitors

A dedicated page for event sponsors.

  • Sponsor logos organized by sponsorship tier
  • Tiered layout — Platinum sponsors shown larger at top, Gold in middle, Silver smaller at bottom
  • Click a sponsor for more details — website link, description, logo

Event photos from the AI Photo Gallery.

  • Photo grid — masonry, grid, or carousel layout of event photos
  • Click a photo to open a full-screen lightbox with navigation
  • Link to AI Gallery — deep link to the full AI Photo Gallery experience for selfie matching

A public directory of registered attendees (if enabled by the organizer).

  • List of attendee names, companies, and profile photos
  • Useful for networking before and during the event

Event-specific frequently asked questions.

  • Accordion layout — click a question to expand the answer
  • Questions organized by category if multiple sections exist
  • Quick way for attendees to find answers without contacting the organizer

Contact information for the event organizer.

  • Organizer name and email
  • Phone number
  • Contact form
  • Social media links

Post-event feedback collection.

  • Star rating for overall event experience
  • Text field for comments
  • Session-level feedback options

The event website is fully responsive — it adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops:

  • Desktop — full navigation bar, multi-column layouts, sidebar elements
  • Tablet — condensed navigation, two-column grids
  • Mobile — hamburger menu, single-column layout, touch-optimized buttons and cards

Your event website automatically applies the branding you’ve configured:

  • Theme colors — primary and accent colors from your event settings are applied to buttons, links, headers, and highlights
  • Logo — displayed in the header and footer
  • Banner — homepage hero section
  • Fonts — consistent typography across all pages
