Creating Challenges & QR-Based Tasks

Managing Active Challenges

- Edit — modify points, description, or frequency at any time
- Delete — remove challenges that are no longer relevant
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Start with 8–12 challenges — enough variety to keep attendees engaged without overwhelming them.
- Balance point values — make difficult challenges worth more points. Visiting a booth (easy) = 25 points. Attending a full workshop (hard) = 100 points.
- Print QR codes large — at least A4 size, placed at eye level. Attendees need to scan them quickly while walking by.
- Brief booth staff — exhibitors should know about gamification challenges linked to their booth. They can encourage visitors: “Don’t forget to scan our QR code for gamification points!”
- Test all QR codes — scan every QR code with the app before the event starts. Verify they trigger the correct challenge and award the right points.
