Using AI Copilot — Analytics & Insights

EventHex Copilot is an AI-powered assistant built into the CMS. It uses specialized agents to help you analyze registrations, track performance, generate reports, and manage your event — all through natural language chat.

Click the Copilot button (floating action button) in the bottom-right corner of the CMS. Copilot opens in one of three modes:

  • FAB (floating button) — quick questions without leaving your page
  • Sidebar — panel on the right side for extended conversations
  • Fullscreen — full-page Copilot for deep analysis

Copilot has specialized agents, each focused on a domain. Switch between agents using the tabs at the top of the Copilot interface.

The analytics engine. Ask questions about your event data and get answers with visualizations.

Quick Actions:

  • Summarize Event Data — instant overview of registrations, revenue, and attendance
  • Identify Trends — spot patterns in registration timing, ticket popularity, and attendee demographics
  • Performance Report — generate a comprehensive event performance summary
  • Compare Metrics — compare metrics across time periods or ticket types

Example prompts:

"How many registrations came in this week?"
"Show me revenue by ticket type as a bar chart"
"What's our check-in rate compared to last event?"
"Which ticket is most popular?"

The Analyst AI responds with rich components:

  • MetricCard — single KPI with value and trend
  • MetricGrid — multiple KPIs in a grid
  • BarChart / LineChart / PieChart — data visualizations
  • DataTable — tabular data with sorting
  • ComparisonCard — side-by-side metric comparison

Create and manage tickets through chat:

  • Create new ticket types with pricing and limits
  • Update ticket settings
  • Check ticket availability and sales

Example prompts:

"Create an Early Bird ticket at $99 with a limit of 200"
"How many VIP tickets have been sold?"
"Change the General ticket price to $149"

  1. Click the Copilot button.
  2. Select an AI agent tab.
  3. Type your question or click a Quick Action button.
  4. Copilot streams the response in real-time (SSE streaming).

Click the attachment icon to upload files for analysis. Copilot can process:

  • CSV files with attendee data
  • Images for context
  • Documents for reference

Give thumbs up or thumbs down on any response. This helps improve Copilot’s accuracy over time.

Copilot remembers your conversation context within a session. You can ask follow-up questions:

"Show me registrations by ticket type"
→ (Copilot shows bar chart)
"Now filter that to the last 7 days"
→ (Copilot updates the chart)

  • Be specific — “Show me registrations” is fine, but “Show me daily registrations for the last 2 weeks as a line chart” gives better results.
  • Use Quick Actions — the pre-built prompts are optimized for common analytics tasks.
  • Try follow-ups — don’t start a new conversation for related questions. Ask follow-ups to build on previous context.
  • Check the data — Copilot is powerful but verify critical business decisions against the actual dashboard numbers.
